AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF AMORY TO MAKE ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MONROE COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Amory, Mississippi, in their discretion, may contribute annually, on a fiscal-year basis, a sum not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) to the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce and/or its successors, out of any available city funds in the annual budget of the City of Amory.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, and shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2003.
